My first hour is always FREE! After that:
graphic design
My regular graphic design rate is $45/hr.
MOBAA members pay just $40/hr.
Non-profits and community groups are charged $35/hr.
Custom logos start at $500, in two payments.
Digital portraits are $50.
Branding packages are $375 for the custom logo + applicable design rate for additional materials. (ie business cards, letterhead, envelopes, web graphics, etc)
Business cards are $150 for one side, $175 for two sides. (Does not include printing or shipping costs)
social media
Setting up a Facebook Page for your business or org costs $150.
This includes setting the Page’s profile pic and custom URL, filling out all applicable fields on the Info tab, uploading at least 5 images to populate the photo strip, priming the News Feed with 4-6 posts of various types so the Page isn’t barren for the first visitors, and designing a custom Landing Page for new visitors to start on.
Custom Twitter and YouTube backgrounds are billed hourly since the graphics can be of varying complexity. You can either grant me access to install them for you (recommended in case small adjustments need to be made) or I can simply send you the files and you can apply them yourself.
Managing your social media presence starts at $150/mo or can be billed hourly.
This amounts to just over 3 hours of management per month, which I consider an absolute minimum to maintain a social media presence. If you anticipate your social media needs as fairly constant, I recommend the monthly flat rate. If your needs will vary month to month, hourly will give a more accurate reflection of that. This may include such activities as account/profile setup, updating profile settings, creating new connections, responding to connection requests or direct communications, scheduling content items to be published, monitoring promotions or contests, and more.
"evan created a beautiful logo for my small business at an affordable rate. evan did a really great job of blending my ideas with his own creative vision and professional eye. He was very patient and responsive to my many requests for small tweaks. He let me know when my ideas didn't work, but made perceptive suggestions for what might work instead. I think my final logo is visually pleasing, easy to process and subtly conveys the nature and values of my business without going overboard with details and colors. I highly recommend hiring evan for your graphic design project."
"I've hired evan several times to do graphics for me and just hired him again. He is able to work with my not always clear written requirements to create clever, unique images that nail down what I need. He is also very easy to work with, responsive and provides a very good value. evan also was able to turn around projects very quickly when I needed them done. I've referred him to others."
"evan has done work for Citizens for Peaceful Resolutions. I am on the executive board of CPR. His work is creative and attractive. He delivers on time. You won't find a more honest or capable graphic artist."
"evan is one of those people you hope and assume you'll know personally and do business with for the next thirty years. He conducts himself with the utmost integrity and communicates clearly and respectfully. evan is organized, process-oriented, good at problem solving and can independently drive a project to success and conclusion. While this world could use more evan austin's, I'm proud to say I know, trust and respect this one deeply."
"We've engaged evan to handle our social media for us for more than a year. He's creative, energetic, thoughtful, flexible, timely with his deliverables and easy to work with. He represents his skill sets accurately and he is capable of a great many things that can add value to businesses, both large and small."
“evan is a talented designer who can quickly and effectively solve design problems. His designs show a high level of creativity, sophistication and professionalism. He is one of those students that an instructor remembers because of his dedication and passion to his work."
